OCTOBER 2018 - PRESENT
SENIOR MARKETING CLOUD CONSULTANT @ CANPANGO

In my current role as a Senior Marketing Cloud Consultant, I lead all aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations for Salesforce Gold Consulting Partner, Canpango. I serve as the SME for all things Marketing Cloud and email marketing, including scoping, strategy, integrations, implementations, and more. AUGUST 2018 - OCTOBER 2018
SENIOR MARKETING ENGINEER @ CUNA MUTUAL GROUP

As a Senior Marketing Engineer, my work was similar to my prior role as a Marketing Engineer, plus a few additional responsibilities. I mentored team members by partnering with them in standing up cross-channel integrated marketing campaigns. I was also the Customer Marketing lead on a new e-commerce implementation, which included managing vendor relationships, negotiating SOWs, planning out workstreams, identifying opportunities for integration, developing remarketing strategy at drop-off points, and more.


May 2017 - August 2018
Marketing Engineer @ CUNA Mutual Group

As a member of the Customer Marketing team at CUNA Mutual, my focus was on developing new marketing automation capabilities and communication streams to cross-sell, up-sell, and remarket to existing and potential customers. I sat on several agile marketing teams, for which I led remarketing efforts and new capability implementations. I spent most of my time strategizing new marketing tactics & campaigns, bringing cross-functional teams together to get work done, managing stakeholders and deadlines, and communicating, communicating, communicating. When given a chance to get my hands dirty, I was working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to build personalized, dynamic customer journeys through email and social touchpoints. I also helped with the initial standup of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for the consumer area of the organization.


SEPTEMBER 2016 - May 2017
Marketing Specialist @ CUNA Mutual Group

I acted as a Swiss army knife, working on a wide variety of B2B marketing projects, from designing company-wide sales presentations, to writing articles for trade publications, to conducting competitive research, and everything in-between.


OCTOBER 2015 - SEPTEMBER 2016
EMAIL CAMPAIGN SPECIALIST @ SEARS HOLDINGS CORPORATION

I built and sent promotional emails to millions of Sears & Kmart customers and Shop Your Way members. I used Oracle's Responsys Interact to build and manage 7-10 email campaigns per week. Getting my campaigns completed involved constant coordination and communication between teams, including developers, QA, and marketing managers. Ultimately, it was on me to ensure an accurate, relevant, and engaging send to every recipient.


SUMMER 2015
Digital Marketing & Design Consultant

Between university graduation and an extended trip to Europe, I took on a freelance project. I approached Tink & Tank Coolers, a startup out of Missouri. MAY 2014 - MARCH 2015
Social Media Associate & social media InTERN @ CAMPING WORLD

I managed social media accounts for Camping WorldGood Sam, and a few companies from Marcus Lemonis's personal portfolio. I was responsible for planning, creating, writing, scheduling, and ultimately posting all of the content across all of the social media accounts I managed. At the time I left the position, I was writing about 60 posts during a 20-hour work week. See some samples of my social media work here.


December 2012 - August 2014
Marketing Manager @ Illini Media

I built and ran a 31-person marketing department at Illini Media, overseeing marketing and branding for The Daily IlliniBuzz MagazineIllio YearbookTechnograph Magazine, and WPGU 107.1. I led four teams, each working on ideating and developing promotions and campaigns. I trained the entire team and gave them guidance in their day-to-day work. I was also responsible for all of the company's events and promotions.
